TRICIA CWIKLINSKI OF CALAMAR ELECTED PRESIDENT OF AMERICAN BUSINESS WOMENS ASSOCIATION

(Wheatfield, September 8, 2005) Tricia Cwiklinski, Director of Sales & Leasing for Calamar Enterprises, was selected as the new president for the Northtowns Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). ABWA is a women’s organization designed to bring together business women of diverse occupations to provide opportunities to help them grow both personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

Tricia was also nominated for ABWA’s Top Ten recognition. One member from each of the ten local chapters of ABWA, is nominated to be recognized on a national level. Tricia was selected for both president and the top ten nomination for her outstanding achievements in her career, her continuance of education and her involvement with the community. Besides ABWA, Tricia is involved in the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, A Coalition for Women Appointments, Board of the Amherst Senior Center Foundation, the American Heart Association, WomenHeart, Erie County Commission on the Status for Women, President Council of Villa Maria College and much more.

"We are very proud of Tricia and to have her as an integral part of our staff", Calamar President Kenneth Franasiak said. "Tricia is very dedicated and loyal in every aspect, from her job, to the community and to her family. She is a real asset to our organization and we are very pleased to recognize all her accomplishments", Franasiak said.

Other members of the Northtowns Charter Chapter of ABWA include Vice President Kay Krzyzkowski (retired); Secretary Mary Wentz (Manager of Captain’s Choice Department at Tops Market, Thruway Mall), and Treasurer Amy Strusa (Agent for New York Life Insurance Company).
