Dawn I Gilliam, C.O.O. of Calamar, Niagara County’s largest real estate organization, has been named to Business Firsts “40 under Forty” honor roll for 2007. An independent six-person panel selected Gilliam and 39 others candidates to represent this year’s honorees. The 40 under Forty honor roll was formed in 1992 to acknowledge and honor young, outstanding community leaders, under the age of 40, in Western New York for their professional success and community involvement.

Dawn has been an integral part of Calamar since its inception in 1990 serving as Chief Operating Officer. Calamar is one of Western New Yorks largest real estate organizations, which provides construction, development and property management services. Dawn’s community involvement includes serving on the Board of Girl Scouts for Niagara County, volunteering at the Aquarium of Niagara, Church usher for St. John DeLasalle and is one of the co-founders of the Niagara Area Foundation. She is a past Who’s Who Among Executive Women award recipient as well as a past winner for the Everett W. Ockerman Award from Niagara University.

An awards luncheon recognized Dawn and all the honorees at The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on November 8th.
