(Wheatfield, NY, December 7, 2005) Tricia Cwiklinski, Director of Leasing for Calamar, has been appointed as a board member for the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women. The appointments were made and approved by the Erie County Executive and the Erie County Legislatures. Tricia’s appointment is a three-year term where she will work with other board members of the commission to ensure that women of Erie County have full participation on the issues that have an impact on their lives.

The Erie County Commission on the Status of Women was established in 1997 by a unanimous vote by the Erie County Legislature and in 1998 the Commission became a department of the Erie County Government. The Commission conducts policy studies, analyzes current legislation, programs and trends affecting women; develops collaborative programs with local and regional organizations and public officials, provides educational awareness and recommends measures to coordinate, consolidate or expand the resources and services available to women in Erie County.

"We are extremely proud of Tricia and the many organizations she is involved with. She is engaged in a variety of charity and community endeavors and her contributions are to be applauded. Tricia is an integral part of Calamar and we are delighted to recognize her for her generous contribute to the communities in which we live and work, said Calamar President Kenneth Franasiak.
