Calamar announced today that Forestview Senior Village has already pre-leased seventeen units in their new 92-unit apartment residence slated to open in January 2010.  Currently under construction, Forestview Senior Village is a three-story, one and two bedroom apartment building for those age 55 plus representing a $10 million dollar investment by Calamar to bring quality, affordable senior housing to our area.

Located within The Woodlands Residential Village, Forestview Senior Village represents the third senior property to be built in this community.  Among these, People Inc. owns and operates Willow Housing, a 48-unit senior apartment residence for seniors age 62 plus who qualify for financial assistance from HUD (Housing Urban Development).  This is just one of many senior residences People Inc. own and manages throughout Western New York.  Calamar's other senior residence is The Woodlands Senior Village, a 110-unit one and two bedroom apartment complex for those 55 plus that is nearly 100% occupied.

The Forestview Senior Village is an enhanced version of The Woodlands Senior Village with three different floor plans in one and two bedroom suites to choose from that include larger, roomier units, upgraded appliances and fixtures,  in-suite laundry connections, a theater room, game room and much, much more.
