Community Manager


Community Manager is key in all leasing and marketing activities, including:

  • Leasing - prospecting, tours and lease execution
  • Retention - provide excellent tenant satisfaction, resolve issues, provide enriched lifestyle for 55+ community

Foster retention in independent living by providing excellent customer service on facility issues and through resource allocation.  Promote an environment that fosters independent living for an extended period through facility management, vendor relations, third-party service and resource coordination.  Will represent and promote community at events, trade shows and in out reach activities. 
Success is measured on leasing, occupancy and tenant satisfaction along with proven success in sales, customer service, organization and time management.  Qualified candidates should posses 5+ years successful sales necessary and 2+ years experience in tenant relations and/or retention.  Business/sales references necessary.  Salary plus commission.  Full-time with benefits.

Calamar Midwest
Omaha, NE

 

Project Manager, Midwest

Oversee and manage construction projects from design to close out under the financial, qualitative and time sensitive objectives and satisfaction of the customer.  Work with construction team to develop estimates, schedules; processing of submittals, Requests for Information, change orders, progress reports, closeout documents; ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and other contract documents.  Among a variety of responsibilities, the highlights of a Project Manager position are:

  • Manage project through contract award until successful closeout
  • Initiate change orders, estimate same
  • Secure and manage sub-contractors
  • Successfully completing the project on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the owner


Ideal candidates will have field experience and some multi-family background. Knowledge of building codes and blue print reading necessary, along with Timberline Estimating or similar software. Position requires at least 5 years experience in a similar commercial construction position. Unpredictable travel to job site in the mid-west necessitates a driver's license.
